Being involved in our community is very important to Merestone. By working with the community we are able to stay in the know with the important changes in businesses, trends, and economic times. Enjoying what we do is easy when we are able to give back.
2015
The 2015 Scottsdale Area Chamber Sterling Awards welcomed new Chamber President, Mark Hiegel, with the same pizazz as usual. The futuristic theme honored the award winners in style. The Chamber involvement with the business community is a value that is immeasurable.

Chester’s Backstage Bash

It was a HOT night in old town at the Backstage Bash hosted by Chester’s Harley-Davidson! Chester’s went to Merestone for the entire production of the festival—planning, layouts, entertainment coordination, sound and lighting.
Live country music by David Allen Coe, Rowdy Johnson Band, and Doublewide kept the crowd rocking, along with carnival games, food and much more with all proceeds to benefit Liberty Wildlife.
Make-A-Wish Studio 540 Wish Ball
For their 2015 Wish Ball, Make-A-Wish asked Merestone to create Studio 540 with staging, décor, graphics, lighting, and audio. Merestone produced a Studio 54-inspired Wish Ball and was honored as a Silver sponsor for our contributions to this event!
The evening was filled with dinner and dancing. Contributions went towards granting the wishes of 540 Arizona children suffering with life-threatening medical conditions.
2014
Gilbert Constitution Fair
The Constitution Fair features military tributes, bi-plane flyovers, skydivers, fireworks, and entertainment for the entire family. Each year, Merestone supports this dynamic event with outdoor staging, lighting, audio, video and signage.
Tourism is a key industry for Arizona and for Merestone. Therefore we support the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association and its annual Arizona Tourism Unity Dinner, as we has done for many years. This year the Grand Canyon was honored so, we designed staging with five (5) printed scenic panels and suspended them in front of fiber optic drape.
Make-A-Wish Arizona hosted a stunning evening called the Great Gatsby Wish Ball. Thanks to the generous donations from Merestone and others in the local community, Make-A-Wish raised more than $2.7 million, helping to grant the wishes of every eligible Arizona child with a life-threatening medical condition! Giving back to Make-A-Wish makes all the hard work worthwhile.
2013
Thanks, in part, to donations and support from Merestone, Make-A-Wish Arizona was able to organize the Rat Pack Wish Ball, raising more than $2.4 million that will go towards granting the wish of every eligible Arizona child with a life-threatening medical condition. Giving back to Make-A-Wish makes all of the hard work in a busy work day feel worthwhile!
The Sterling Awards is the marquee event to honor all levels of business success. It embodies the spirit of the chamber organization by celebrating with the people and companies that make the community a great place to live, work and play.
How do you go from Ho Hum to Oh Wow? That answer is easy – Merestone! The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce has the well-earned reputation for putting on the best awards luncheon in the valley, all because Merestone makes it special, memorable, fast-paced and fun. Whether making me enter riding a bull or flying in with a jet pack, the creative team at Merestone outdoes themselves every year and in the process turns what could have been yet-another-awards-banquet and transformed it into the must-see, must-be-there event. No one leaves the Sterling Awards without the sense of time well spent. Thank you, Merestone, for making Sterling golden!

Held every year in Scottsdale, the Valley of the Sun Active 20-30, presents their fundraising event for the programs that are served by the Valley Kids Foundation. Helping to improve the lives of children in our community by providing essentials for these events, we are able to give back to those in our community. Most importantly Merestone values the children that are the future of Arizona.
Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association has an Annual Tourism Unity Dinner each year. They can always rely on the support of Merestone for the staging.
The Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce has worked hard to support many businesses over the years, one of those being Merestone. Merestone in turn has found it quite rewarding to return the favor by being a key sponsor to many of their events throughout the year, as well as donating the time from Merestone’s very own President, Camille Hill that sits on the Scottsdale Chamber’s Board of Directors. Merestone underwrites all the production support for the Chamber. This is the Chamber’s annual Women in Leadership Luncheon. It is dedicated to educating professional working women and celebrating success.
The Enchanted Trail!
The Rio Salado Audubon Center host this fall festival every year to delight nature lovers young and old with the bat cave, glow-in-the-dark critters, the trash troll and much more! Merestone supports this fall festival with decor to “enchant” the trail that allows Halloween lovers to be educated about the wonders of Arizona’s great outdoors.
