March 24, 2011 - Award-Winning Event Production Company, Merestone, Continues to Grow Client Base

Award-winning event production company, Merestone, a full service production company continues to grow their client base and will be adding new team members as well as promoting existing team members to help address their clients growing needs.

"At Merestone, the process, orchestration and delivery of our client's message is our single goal," said Camille Hill, President of Merestone. "By achieving this goal, we have developed a very large and loyal client base that continues to grow. In order to address our clients growing demands and continue to provide our award-winning services, we have added a new Purchasing Agent, Production Manager and promoted a new Director of Production and Operations."

With the addition and promotion of these team members, Merestone is now even in an even better position to produce one-of-a-kind, live and interactive events and environments that produce a true brand experience.


December 5, 2010 - Continuing Education for Cast Members

A Merestone Cast Member got a 1.5 day intensive Training Session for advanced wysiwyg software during 2010 LDI show in Las Vegas. WYSIWYG

Merestone uses wysiwyg software to preprogram lighting for programs. Wysiwyg is an advanced software for laying out your lighting plot pre-show. Using 3D CAD the software include 1000's of lighting, truss and electrical elements for creating detailed lighting plots. Merestone's Lighting Designer Todd Stover was sent to Las Vegas to attend wysiwyg training allowing Merestone to keep up with the many updates new features from wysiwyg.

Merestone has used wysiwyg software for years to help save time and money by pre-programming much of a show before arriving on location. These classes will continue improving our skills.

MarCom Awards MarCom Awards

Two (2) honors from the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals. Merestone is an award recipient in the MarCom Awards 2010 competition. We won a Platinum for "A Whole New World" video/animation and a Gold for a logo Development for Vitron Manufacturing. The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. MarCom is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals.


September 21, 2010 - Event Production Company, Merestone, Experiences Continued Growth

September 18, 2010 - Merestone Continues to Win! A Silver Telly Award for 2010 (and two Gold Awards)

Merestone is on pace to achieve the winning year they had in 2004, and 2005 when they were honored with thirty-seven awards. This year they are the prestigious recipient of the Silver Telly and two Gold Tellys. The Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. The Telly Awards was founded in 1978 by David E. Carter, a past Emmy and Clio® winner, to honor excellence in local, regional and cable TV commercials. Non-broadcast video and TV program categories were soon added. Today, the Telly is one of the most sought-after awards by industry leaders, from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies. With over 180 categories, more organizations than ever are eligible to participate. . Last year, Telly received over 10,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. This year, Merestone submitted one entry to achieve the three (3) honors, which was an opening video for the Early Warnings. Opening General Session.
