January 24, 2011 – Ted Hill Honored. At the annual ISES Winter Leadership Conference meeting  held in conjunction with Special Event 2011 in  Phoenix, Ted Hill was among a small handful of people who received their 20 year membership pin from ISES. Ted Hill has been a member of ISES for 23 years. The tribute was during the Reception held at the Sheraton Downtown in Phoenix. Congratulations Ted.

January 25, 2011 – OPENING FUN! – Merestone created an opening video for the TSE 2011 (The Special Event 2011 ) in Phoenix. Camille Hill, President of Merestone and Jack Weiner owner of Kool Party Rentals were the appointed Ambassadors for this year’s conference. Merestone’s Creative Services Department came up with a story line that found Camille on the golf course and Jack at the spa when they were supposed to be on stage at the Opening General Session. The story line took them through Egypt (a “short-cut”), running around downtown Phoenix, trying to get by a no nonsense Security Guard and finally sliding down ropes to get onstage! If you would like to see the Opening video please go to YouTube- Merestone and enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/user/MerestoneAZ#p/a/u/0/7hJlCbjlmE4

Merestone on the Road

September 21st, 2010 by Merestone

This has been a busy summer for Merestone. Florida, Arizona, Nevada and California have been showsites for the Merestone team. A couple of the shows:

The San Diego Show
Merestone traveled to San Diego with three (3) semis and two (2) box trucks carrying the gear needed to transform the San Diego Convention Center site into a General Session for over 5000 people. The project included three General Session gatherings, a store set-up and multiple after meeting events and celebrations.

Our support services started from Creative Services, Video and Video Editing with Animation, all Audio Visual, Scenic, Venue Management, Entertainment and Staff to make it happen!

The Florida Show
Was not quite the scale as the San Diego Show we only used two (2) semis for all the equipment and gear. Technically, it was as involved included all the above services plus translation for six (6) languages in every General Session and breakout. Entertainment was key because the General Sessions (3) were quite long so the client relied on Merestone to present some captivating entertainment to regenerate the guests. The entertainment choices included many Cirque-like acts only everyone had to perform to very lively music with a distinct beat allowing the crowd to get into the “show”
