Memorable product launches require strategy, creative development and flawless production. Merestone worked with Williams-Sonoma to produce their Annual Product Reveal and Annual Meeting. This year’s product release took on a whole new challenge as Williams-Sonoma wanted to recreate four new store environments and win the inter-company display contest.
The environments required building one hundred sixty five (165) twelve (12) foot walls including two (2) forty (40) curved spans for moving projection graphics. One projection was a stunning winter scene complete with gently falling snow, and the other was an expansive golden wheat field with giant white clouds majestically floating across the deep blue sky. Both were powerful environments for introducing the new Williams-Sonoma products and new lines.
A complete professional cooking kitchen with (3) kitchen cooking work spaces were set with multiple camera/flatscreen set-ups for the celebrity chefs to compete in a “Chopped” like contest while showcasing the Williams-Sonoma products.
Merestone had the advantage of a recently expanded scenic shop just in time for the “quick turn-around” project.
The two key client goals were on the line. First, the client wanted to lift the reveal beyond the standard “pretty” display experience, which the audio visual component of moving wall graphics accomplished, and next they wanted to win the coveted first place inter-company competition. SUCCESS… Both were achieved!
