This year’s Compassion with Fashion Show was an amazing fundraising event that continues to impact furry lives with the donations received from this single occasion. Merestone was honored to provide production services and join the community in lifting up those in most need. From the runway to the rigged AV and lighting equipment, Merestone ensured this was a monumental event for all who attended.

Who Let the Dogs Out?

Before doors opened in the ballroom for the fashion show and live auction, out on the terrace there was a silent auction for guests to bid on. To add a little shade on the 80 degree March day and enhance the aesthetic, shade sails were mounted on truss surrounding the terrace. The furry friends waiting for their moment on the cat walk definitely appreciated the coverage as they laid outside.

Cat Walk

Models, both two-legged and four-legged, took to the 78 foot runway during this fashion show to encourage donations for the thousands of pets who need new homes, beds, toys, and food here in Arizona. The mission of the Arizona Humane Society was conveyed visually and audibly to the 1100 guests through two flown screens with projection, rigged lighting and speaker systems above the cat walk, and two main stage screens. To clearly show the speakers both on the runway and at the main stage podium, two cameramen were positioned in the ballroom.
